Dr Mark Hartnell is a long-term Rural doctor (if you accept that Ballarat is rural). He is nearly 9 years into a stint in a Leadership Role in Ballarat ED (with the prospect of that being formally recognised any time from now) and with a subspecialty interest in challenging patients. Mark also works for Deakin University (they allowed him to get Challenging Patients onto the undergraduate syllabus about 5 minutes after he became a FACEM).
